Parent Duties :

Little Athletics can only function through the assistance of volunteers. Each Saturday morning competition requires each club to provide volunteers to fulfill a range of duties that the club is responsible for.

 Wakehurst Little Athletics is responsible for the following duties on a Saturday morning: 

High Jump

Please meet at the Western storeroom behind the grand stand at the LATEST by 7:30am. All high jump areas must be set up before competition starts at 8:00am. Instructions on what to do are found here. If you have never performed high jump duty or are not sure what to do then please print out the instructions and take them with you.

Finish line: 

Please meet by the timing gates on the track that you are assigned to by 7:40am. Instructions on what to do are found here.

Tents:

Please meet at the Eastern storeroom behind the grand stand at the LATEST by 7:40am. All tents areas must be set up before competition starts at 8:00am. Instructions on what to do are found here.

Raffle: 

Please meet at the Wakehurst tent at the LATEST by 7:40am.

If you are able to donate raffle prizes then please call the club’s raffle coordinator.

Zone & Region Carnivals :

In the event that a child qualifies for zone, regional or state level competition, then parents must perform rostered duties for the Manly Warringah Little Athletics Center which is over and above their club duties.

Parent Duty Bond :

Each  athlete is allocated 2 or 3 duties to be undertaken by their parents during the season.

The  $50 per family Parent Duty Bond has been introduced to encourage parents to fulfill their parent duties. This bond will be refunded in full when a family completes ALL of its duties for the season.

If you wish to Assist your child's Age Manager with the events on the competition days, you must sign on as a "Parent Helper" for your Child's Age group. This assistance is also voluntary and does NOT count towards your required Club Duties.
